Frequently Asked Questions

We’re here to answer all your questions and make sure you feel informed and comfortable about your care. We believe in open communication and are committed to helping you make the best decisions for your dental health. Don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to support you every step of the way!

We accept walk-ins on Saturdays and Sundays. We will do our best to provide care as quickly as possible for those without an appointment.  If we are actively treating other patients, there may be a wait time to be seen. We hope to exceed your expectations and make the experience as painless as we can. To avoid wait times, we recommend making an appointment in advance to ensure you get the time slot that works best for you. You can call us at 385-464-3520 or book online through our website.

We offer a wide range of dental services on weekends, including exams, fillings, root canals, crowns, chipped tooth repair, emergency care, and more. If you have a specific need, feel free to call and confirm we can accommodate it.

We offer flexible payment options and will work with you to make your care as affordable as possible. Payment is due at the time of service, but we can also help with pay-over-time options if needed.

Dental work should not be a painful experience. We make sure our patients feel comfortable and we do our best to communicate what they should expect when treatment is being provided. Some discomfort may be experienced but our goal is to alleviate dental pain, not create it.

We recognize that many people experience dental anxiety. We are happy to provide options for patients that are experiencing nervousness about being treated. Please don’t hesitate to ask as many questions as you would like to ensure you feel safe and comfortable.

We are a fee-for-service clinic and are out of network with all insurance providers. However, dental insurance plans that cover “out-of-network” dental providers can still be used for services provided by our clinic. Most PPO dental plans provide out-of-network coverage, though may have lower reimbursement rates. You should check with your specific plan coverage, if you’re not sure.

As a fee-for-service clinic, we take payment upfront for all services. As a courtesy, we offer to submit insurance claims with the required procedure codes, provider details, and clinic info to your insurance provider for reimbursement directly to you.

If you have scheduled an appointment, please text us a picture of the front and back of your insurance card, if you would like us to submit your insurance claim on your behalf. Most insurance providers will reimburse you within 30 days of receiving the claim. Our clinic submits most claims to the insurance providers within 5 business days from the date of your appointment.

We are not a Medicaid or Medicare provider. Unfortunately, you would not be able to use this benefit at our clinic. We can still see you as a patient, but all services would be out of pocket.

We price our services competitively for the Utah market and do not up-charge on weekends. We do not charge an “emergency fee” like many weekend clinics do. We try to make receiving care as convenient as possible. We offer cash/card discounts and payment plans through Cherry and Tua Pay as well as financing options through CareCredit. Call us to discuss any pricing questions.

Absolutely! Most of our appointments are scheduled for 60-90 minutes to allow sufficient time to diagnose and treat. We understand that waiting, while in pain, is a frustrating experience. We created this clinic to alleviate the problem of patients remaining in pain until they can get to a dentist open during the week.

We even offer same-day crowns as we can mill and fire the crown right in our clinic. Crown appointments usually take 1.5 – 2 hours.

Our dentists and staff are incredibly talented and good at what they do! Our providers and staff work at other clinics during the week and pickup shifts at Weekend Dental Emergency Care on the weekends. Bios and pictures coming soon!
