Emergency Dentist – Weekend Dental Emergency Care
Dr. Sarah Bettag, DDS is a Salt Lake City transplant originally from Seattle, Washington. She attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry for her doctorate and completed her General Practice Residency at the Detroit John D. Dingell VA Hospital where she received advanced training in dental implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry.
She has completed many hours of continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, Botox® training for clenching/grinding, Invisalign® treatment, digital dentistry, and facially generated treatment planning. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), and the SPEAR Study Club.
Her passion for transforming smiles and creating confidence in others is what inspired her to pursue dentistry. She looks forward to developing trusting patient relationships while building healthy and beautiful teeth. In her free time, she loves skiing, hiking, cooking, and exploring Utah.
Devin Davidson

Dr. Devin Davidson is a skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing high-quality emergency dental care when patients need it most. Dr. Davidson is committed to making expert dental treatment accessible beyond traditional office hours, ensuring fast relief for urgent dental concerns.With a strong foundation in general and emergency dentistry, Dr. Davidson is known for his precision, calming approach, and ability to diagnose and treat complex dental issues quickly and effectively. Whether managing dental trauma, severe tooth pain, or urgent infections, his focus is always on patient comfort, clinical excellence, and efficient care.
Dr. Davidson graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in biology and attended the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry where he excelled in clinical courses and volunteered his free time to various student service organizations; he also found time to form a dental school soccer team.
After his graduation, Dr. Davidson received a year of intensive training in the most up-to-date techniques in surgical dental procedures at the University Of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Davidson’s commitment to continuing education and his passion for helping patients feel at ease have earned him the trust of the local community. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the outdoors.
Blair Witt

Dr. Blair Witt brings over a decade of dedicated experience in emergency dentistry to Weekend Dental Emergency Care in Utah. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2011, where he received comprehensive training in general and emergency dental procedures.
Prior to joining the team in Utah, Dr. Witt practiced extensively in Texas, providing urgent dental care across multiple clinics. His broad experience includes managing a wide range of dental emergencies, from acute toothaches and infections to traumatic dental injuries.
Known for his calm demeanor and patient-centered approach, Dr. Witt is committed to delivering prompt, effective, and compassionate care. He understands the stress that dental emergencies can cause and strives to ensure that each patient feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment.

Joe Maio

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Maio has become one of Utah’s most trusted names in emergency and restorative dental care. He specializes in weekend and urgent dental treatment, providing fast, effective, and compassionate care when patients need it most.
A graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry, Dr. Maio went on to serve eight years in the U.S. Air Force, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. His military experience honed his precision, leadership, and ability to perform calmly under pressure—skills that continue to define his approach to patient care today.
After his service, Dr. Maio founded and led one of Utah’s fastest-growing dental groups, expanding from a single office to eight locations with more than 100 employees. His leadership earned multiple recognitions, including Utah Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40, Best Companies to Work For, and Best of State awards.
Known for his steady hands, calm demeanor, and genuine care, Dr. Maio is the dentist other doctors trust when a case needs immediate, expert attention.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Maio is a proud husband and father. He spends his weekends supporting his son’s journey in professional bull riding and cheering on his daughter’s high school dance performances. When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find him exploring Utah’s backcountry, studying human performance, or mentoring young dentists entering the field of emergency care
